Ace Cafe 2009

Well it was great weather for the meet, only the guys who came over from the east coast had rain. 9 bikes and 10 owners turned up for the event. We were hoping to beat the record of 10 bike but not quite this time.

What I really liked about the selection of 13's that showed was the diversity of them. We had some that looked like they just rolled out of the Kawasaki factory a few days ago and we had some modified bikes.

Some owners were modified too.

W e did have one drama, Daves 13 blew the top hose so he limped to the Ace Cafe having super glued the hose together.

Paul came to the rescue though and took Dave on a sight seeing tour of all the bike and car shops in London until a likely replacement could be found.

Once fitted Dave fired her up and the hose held pressure and he was able to make 120 mile trip home safely without damaging the bike. Phew, and a big thanks to Paul for his help.

The picture above is my mate Daves V max this has been his winter project and a fine bike it turned out to be. Below are some other Shaft's that turned up.
