Well here it is finally! I bought the bike in 1996 as a running restoration project. I rode her for about a year whilst saving up for the project and then lady luck smiled on me as I was out riding one day. A company van pulled out from a side turning and knocked me off, (thats luck!).

Lady luck came in the guise of my mate driving his Police car the other way and he saw it all. Having a good insurance company (Carole Nash)

I managed to get the whole bike re sprayed by Dream Machine as well as lots of other bits and pieces. No sooner had I got her all back together that I noticed a suspicious loss of coolant.

Yes you've guessed it, the head gasket had gone. Oh well back into the garage it went. I then spent the next six months taking the top end apart replacing the gasket, valve stem oil seals and generally refurbishing the head. 

 

Over the past year or so I have slowly made further modifications. New coils and leads, cam chain tensioner, loads of rechroming and lastly the bikini fairing that I bought from Pete F. All that remains is to try and find the information stickers.
