January 1979 Motorcycle Mechanics featured the article everyone was waiting for:-The Z1300 was shown to the world in Malta.

February 1979 Motorcycle Mechanics had dug further into the development of the Kawasaki Z1300 and revelled the route the bike had taken before the finished model was released.
