Brought this A4 last year which had been standing a long time. As you can

see it is totally standard, but could do with a tidy up in some areas.

Most of last year was spent rebuilding the engine due to an unexpected strip

down due to the previous owners crankcase bodge which was so crafty it only

reared its head after a couple of hundred miles. (and yes I did take the

matter up with him!)

The crankcase was professionally welded, machined and along with a

refurbished crank, re -ring, cam chain and cylinder head, (all carried out

by S.E.P in Kegworth ) the engine was re-assembled.

also added the recommended tensioner up grade was added.

Runs very well now apart from poor initial starting due to carbs. These will

be sent off for a professional rebuild soon.
