Rally Tips
![]()
1. Plan your route. It can make a long journey much less tiresome.
2. Ride with a friend. It's more fun. (They don't have to be on a 13.)
3. Have a practice putting up your tent in the back garden. (This should save embarrassment at the rally)
4. When packing ask yourself do I really need this. The kitchen sink, a milling machine and ball gown are not required. Pack a toothbrush the monkey will crap in your mouth over night.
5. Ensure everything is secured to your bike properly and that no sharp objects are rubbing on any body work.
6. Pre book your rally tickets they cost more on the gate.
7. Beer is often expensive on site, so smuggle as much in as you can carry. Or nip out after you've set up and buy some.
8. Most of all have fun.
