Richard Ws 13

Every so often you get a feeling about a bike, this is that bike. Watch this page as this bike develops.

I'm sure that as each month, possibly each week this bike will turn into a machine that will draw crowds wherever it turns up.

I met Richard at the 2003 Sammy Miller run, he didn't come on this bike as it was in bits scattered all over his work shop. He was on a zed 1000 (It could have been a Z900 oh well that immaterial anyway.) He had a decision to make, a bike had to go? On seeing everyone else's 13's the dilemma was over.

Richard started this project a long time ago, the bike was to be a supercharged 13. Super charging is the way I believe you should go if you want to go faster: No turbo lag, instant gains and the faster you go the faster you go with a super charger.

Richard has the casings modified ready for the addition of a supercharger he makes no mention of pursuing his old dream of making one of the fastest 13's on this planet. I guess shortly after this baby fires into action Richards thoughts will turn to finishing what he started.

I know from my brief chat with Richard this man knows what he's doing and what he talks about. I am confident this 13 will be special. (I know  every 13 is special but I think this one will stand out from the crowd.)

Didn't have to watch long here we can see a series of developmental pictures for a rear brake conversion. The back brakes on these thing work fine but it will help the bike look ever more trick.
