Skegness 2003

Vulture arranged a meet out in sunny Skegness, he had spotted a Classic Motorcycle meet and thought we should honour the organisers by showing up...
The red 13 above is Vulture's, quite fittingly as he'd been the motivation behind this gathering of 13's he entered his machine into the show. Sat amongst the tiny british machine it truley looked a monster. The Honda 400/4 at the side of it looks positively humbled in the shadow of such a colossal machine.
Here's JJ's 13 (Sounds real nice too.)
I had a good old mosey around, not a lot took my fancy. (Hey it wouldn't as I arrived on a 13)
The quite surprisingly I was impressed with this machine... a bandit!!! No No don't laugh until you've really looked at it.
It's a very trick machine without being in your face.
We then decided to go on up the coast to Inglemells (Strange Russ hadn't arrived yet?) We left Vulture who was tied to the show he'd entered. I wonder if he has a chance?
Now JJ and us had a blast into Inglemells, my phone rang hmm? Russ "I'm in Scunthorpe where are you?" Skegness I reply. "See you in 3/4's of an hour then." Which he did, nice one. But how he ended up in Scunthorpe is another story, one that will probably be laughed about at rallies for years to come. (But only behind his back coz he's a big lad!)
It was on this day that I found out my 13 would indeed to 150mph and my ribs are still sore from the beating Sandra gave me. (any illegal activities ever spoken about on this site are done on private property with the owners consent and no animals are ever harmed.)
Back to Vulture, he won. Nice one buddy.
