Brackley

Festival of Motorcycling

Well what can I say I've not been to this event before but I'll be going again. The whole town of Brackley closes or should I say open for Brackley Festival of Motorcycling. It was great, the high street was closed and turned into a race track come drag strip where drag bikes, motor gp bikes and stunt riders showed their metal.

A section of the high street was made into a custom show, see pictures below.

I thought it funny that next to the big yellow chop was parked a C90 lol.

Below show the bike park which quickly filled up and they had to open satalite parks around the town to cope with the number of bike attending.

But not only did they have the drag strip, custom show, guest speakers etc they had a motocross track, an enduro ring a classics section, trade stalls, a wheel of death fair ground rides and all for £4 yep only 4 quid. It was a great day out and the weather was scorching.

It was also good to see a few 13 owners too, in attendance were Terry (his beautiful 13 below), Phil, Oz (ZParts) and Mark (Bungalow)

When I returned to the bike a Benelli had parked up so as it's a sixer I thought I should post a picture.

All in all I would recommend the day it was great and good value for money.
