This was the smallest rally we've ever been to, but yep there's a but. It was one of the best...

There was a really good family atmosphere, the two photo's above show some kids in action. The kids on the go-kart gave it a good go trying to knock the dumb photographer down.

The entertainment was a cool band Nuclear Minouge. They were one of the best party bands I've ever seen. The lead singer was a body builder painted in fluorescent body paint and wearing in a dress? They cover songs from Brittany Spears and Sting to hard metal.

Cp6.jpg (25581 bytes) I was kind of taken aback looking at this duo, It brought some strange pictures to mind when I thought about their journey in.

We pulled up at the rally and straight away people were talking to us, looking at the 13 and generally making us feel welcome (Cheers Saxons MCC).  "Come in relax and chill out" was one of the first things said, and boy did we. This was a laid back chill fest, relax and have fun was the order of the event.

These must be rally experts! Organised or what?

I'm a real fan of home built bikes, I remember when I started out bikes where held together with tape and coat hangers. A tuned engine was one with no air filter, you get the picture. I like home built bikes by people who try to do the best they can on a limited budget. This rally had loads of this kind of bike, just like my 13. Below are some examples of these.

There was a bike show, silly games and a raffle. All in all I could become a fan of the smaller more intimate rally.

So I'd like to thank the Shoulder of Mutton MCC for making us feel so welcome and congratulate them on a top rally. See you next year.
