Cowpat 2010

The Location: - Amber Valley Rugby Club. Pye Bridge, Derbyshire.

The Organisers: - Shoulder of Mutton MCC.

I know I say it every Cowpat rally but it is a great bash to go to. This year was no exception with the largest turn out I'd ever seen for it. The weather was awesome even I caught the sun. I gotta get it off my chest early my bike didn't win zip this year either. I had wide wheels made at considerable expense, a hydraulic clutch conversion and I friggin' washed it this year. What do I have to do? Mind you Dave added £15k of extra's to the V Max of his and didn't win either. Oh well maybe next year.

Something I should mention is the SOMMCC put on bands and a disco and play silly games etc, I'm just too pissed by this time to be trusted with a camera.

A great selection of bikes again, including a lovely Z1300 with nice wide wheels that didn't win a thing. (Not bitter at all) Can't remember what won except it wasn't a six cylinder monster with an awesome paint job and one off wheels.

Oops someone tried to drink drive, good job he beached it on the curb the next obstacle which has been moved was a line of bikes. I'd say he was a very lucky man.

Apart from the dick in the van this was yet another great event a massive thanks to the SOMMCC who despite not knowing a the true worth of a Z1300 put on a fantastic rally see you guy's next year.

How much for me to get a trophy?
