Jet Trike

The trike below needs to have its own page in fact it should have its own padded cell.

A V8 engined trike with a Jet engine strapped to the back wow. As you can see he picked up a prize at Rock and Blues and I would hazard a guess he picks one up at every show he goes to.

We were sat by the tent sunning ourselves and drinking the odd cool beer as the peace and quiet was disrupted by the thunder of this trike. I couldn't believe what I saw, the front tyre was wider than most cars. On th back was a huge wing, under that was a jet engine. Did it fly ? Did it work ?

I finished my beer (as you do) and went in search of the lunatic that had ridden this monster in. I found him lovingly polishing it up. I had a multitude of questions for him, I guess he thought I was a prat. Did it work I asked of course it worked. The jet was for demo's and drag displays. When the guy was building this machine he tested the engine in his back garden. The afterburner kicked in and his fence and a tree in next doors garden were burned down. Whoops.

The jet uses 6 litres of fuel a minute which must make it the only machine on the road more thirsty than my sixer.
