I missed round 1, I was still working on my Z1300. As we rode down to the Raceway you had to wonder was it going to rain. The clouds where thick and black, the wind buffeted us around but no rain as yet. We got to the track at about 12 o'clock, racing had started. So we grabbed a coffee and headed straight to the grand stand.

The racing was awesome, some top gas supertwins where over from the continent, they where running times comparable with British top fuel supertwins.

Which brings me nicely on to the Supertwins:- Rush our Top fuel XS650 riding hero made the difficult decision to not take "The Whip" out this season His commitment to the club have meant that the Whip hasn't had everything done to it that he'd hoped. He ran Steve Cluttterbucks big Harley instead. He ran an 8.8 on a bike he's not familliar with which is a incredable. This bike is for sale imagine you can buy a bike for 6.5k with loads of spares and win the season.

Dave Wit on X-Terminator decided to only make one run on Saturday which proved to be a wrong decision as both Jamie Millership and Rush ran quicker. Rush ended beating Jamie in the final.

I spotted this Rover, I think this is a car to watch. My Rover never went like this!

The rest of the race card was full of bike's and muscle car's, it wasn't a top fuel meet but it was entertaining nether the less.
